Introducing the $10 chair! This was a quick, fun weekend project. We are sometimes addicted to making over cheap, ugly chairs... How different can you make something look for $10 or less? Sadly, we forgot to take the before picture, but it wasn't pretty. Very unattractive 1970's reddish stain, mauvey-brown "damask" fabric with some sort of unfortunate design woven in... Ugh. The chair was $5 at a local thrift shop, the spray paint was $2.50 and the large red gingham fabric was actually an old tablecloth, also $2.50. I think it looks rather Scandinavian, now... Yes, we are easily entertained...
