New art for a new/old "toy"... An old-fashioned shadow box. Once this is all complete, it will also have a throne, chandelier, plants and who knows what else. The lucky recipient then cuts everything out and mounts it inside a box (instructions will be included, the box is not), the top of which is covered with waxed or glacine paper. A "peephole" is cut at one end of the box and, when one looks through it, a whole scene is in place. So far, we have Queen Victoria, the Prince of Wales (later Edward VII), a footman and Her Majesty't Indian Attendant, a.k.a., the Munshi.
Home and family. Good food and music. Great movies and books. It's dapper... and it's dreamy.
